The people of Kebbi State have been assured by their governor, Nasir Idris, that he will always uphold his legal responsibilities in that role.
Idris made the declaration while addressing a massive rally in honor of his Friday victory at the Court of Appeal in Sokoto at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi.
The governor assured the populace that he was prepared to deliver more benefits of democracy to voters in the shape of crucial infrastructure improvements that would have an impact on their everyday lives.
He claimed that the impartiality of the Appeal Court’s ruling showed that the government’s judicial branch was living up to its role as an impartial, independent body.
Idris has urged the courts to maintain their efficiency and effectiveness for the sake of the nation’s democracy and its citizens.
This ruling proves that the Kebbi people have legitimate authority. He concluded that this showed that the Kebbi people had a positive attitude toward Kauran Gwandu and that this was why God was on their side.
