In Zamfara State, four terrorists were eliminated by the Joint Task Force, North West during Operation Hadarin Daji.
Military operations against known bandit camps and hideouts in the areas surrounding the village of Gandaya in Bungudu Local Government of the state were successful in eliminating them.
According to a statement released by military authorities, many criminals managed to flee the scene, maybe wounded.
The statement also revealed the recovery of 57 stolen cattle, military camouflage uniforms, sleeping kits, and 900,000 Naira (currency) from the terrorists’ hideouts.
“All the identified terrorists’ enclaves and makeshift camps were destroyed instantly during the operation”, the statement stated.
Just twenty-four hours earlier, military personnel reportedly rescued thirty-one abduction victims from a bandits’ nest in Sokoto and burned several camps, as reported by DAILY POST.
