Groovy, a former Big Brother Naija housemate and singer, has accused South African artist Tyla of intellectual property infringement.
The reality star alleged that a sample of Tyla’s upcoming song ‘Truth or Dare’ was taken from his song ‘On My Way.’
Groovy claimed that the South African singer reportedly sampled his music without his permission.
Groovy retweeted Tyla’s excerpt and attached a video of his song ‘On My Way’ with the caption: “Hi Tyla, your new song sounds so much like my song ‘On My Way.'” Your team did not clear that with me.”
Tyla has yet to respond to the accusation.
