Eze Joe Ochulor, the traditional ruler of the Otulu community in Ezinihitte, Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, was shot and killed by unknown assailants.
HEALTHYSPOT101 gathered that the traditional ruler was kidnapped on Saturday morning and killed in the evening but his body was not located until Sunday morning.
According to HEALTHYSPOT101, a community source who requested anonymity said the abducted monarch’s body was discovered on Sunday morning with his limbs severed.
His family and community had been waiting for his kidnappers to contact them and potentially demand a ransom when they found his mutilated remains along the Chokoneze-Mbutu Road.
Those who could have instantly raised the alarm were apparently scared away by the gunmen who burst into his palace and snatched him away.
The information provider went on to say, “Our people are currently living in fear as there is tension in the land.” The locals’ fear stems from the fact that the traditional monarch was taken from his home early Saturday morning. This is utterly disturbing.
Henry Okoye, the spokesperson for the Imo State Police Command, did not return his calls or respond to his message.
