Fabrizio Romano, an expert in football transfers, has updated everyone on Napoli’s predicament with Victor Osimhen.
Due to interest from Chelsea and Arsenal, Romano stated that the Nigerian international is not expected to renew his contract with Napoli.
In June of 2025, Osimhen’s present contract with Napoli will expire.
Roma coach Romano recently stated (via HITC): “Napoli and Osimhen have no agreement on a new contract” while appearing on Kick streaming.
That is an important consideration because his current contract only runs until June 2025, and my signals are crystal clear: Osimhen will not be signing a new agreement with Napoli. So, that is the current situation.
Additionally, he mentioned that both Arsenal and Chelsea are in the market for a new striker and are aware of Osimhen’s condition. Both teams are monitoring Napoli’s situation, but I’ll say it again: Napoli will not be selling him in January.
