Alejandro Garnacho’s brother Roberto has responded angrily to Rio Ferdinand’s assertion that Cristiano Ronaldo of Al-Nassr was the reason Inter Miami’s Lionel Messi unfollowed the Manchester United forward.
Recent claims by Ferdinand suggested that Messi unfollowed Garnacho on Instagram after discovering his support for Ronaldo.
This was something the ex-England international mentioned on his podcast, Vibe with FIVE.
Messi never followed Garnacho, according to Roberto, who has now refuted Ferdinand’s assertion.
Ferdinand, he argued, should quit making things up.
On X, he wrote: “Fake, Messi never followed him, stop making stuff up just to create hate. Garna loves and admires both of them and you all trying to create a rivalry.” (Anonymous)
