In light of the party’s rising popularity, Imo State’s governor, Hope Uzodinma, has announced that the All Progressives Congress, APC, won in his state and Kogi during the off-cycle election.
Uzodinma stated that President Bola Tinubu’s influence has resulted in widespread satisfaction with the All Progressives Congress, APC in Nigeria.
Uzodinma was able to secure a second term as governor of Imo by defeating candidates from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party.
Governor Douye Diri of the PDP was reelected in Bayelsa State, while the APC’s candidate, Usman Ododo, won in Kogi State.
In order to hand Tinubu their certificates of return, Uzodinma and Ododo paid a visit to the presidential Villa.
While there, Uzodinma made comments about the “growing popularity” of the APC, citing the party’s recent victories in the states of Kogi and Imo.
Uzodinma claims that the APC is becoming more and more popular and has just won elections in the states of Kogi and Imo.
Our electoral success demonstrates that Nigerians continue to have a great deal of faith in the APC. Voters in Kogi and Imo states proved that Nigerians voted in large numbers for the president.
Therefore, we have gathered here to pay our respects to the President and to express our gratitude for his leadership and guidance.
He shared with us his wisdom and the accomplishments he has made as president, which we have used to our advantage in winning over people.
